1946, at dusk in Boada de Roa, Gabriela holds a bunch of grapes in her hands.
She then begins a dream that will occupy a lifetime, leaving her mark on riverside history, transmitting her passion for wine and her land to her descendants.
The fruit of the dream of a young riverside girl, this is how Bodegas Viyuela was born.

We make red wines with soul, that fill you with pleasure.
We respect the grape and treat it by selecting it both in the vineyard and in the winery through a completely manual harvest process. We dedicate the grapes from the longest-lived vineyards to our longest-aged wines and those from the youngest vineyards for shorter-aged wines.
All our wines go through Bordeaux barrels. We are committed to quality, and we have numerous international awards and excellent scores by different tasters.
Since 2003 we have been making quality red wines with the 100% Tempranillo variety.
