Who are we?

The Viyuela family decided to give a strong impetus to its wine activity, which dates back to the early 19th century, by building a modern winery located in the same village, Boada de Roa. Where their ancestors traditionally made wine, a true art, within the prestigious framework of the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin.

In our winery, we are proud to rely on a highly qualified and committed team, whose main objective is to guarantee excellence at every stage of wine production. From the oenologist, responsible for the creation and supervision of our wines, to the winemaker, in charge of the meticulous care of our vineyards, each member plays a fundamental role in the process. 

María José / Oenology

Degree in Oenology and Chemical Sciences, Master in Oenology and Viticulture. More than 20 years of experience in winemaking in different Designations of Origin.

María Ángeles / President

Youngest associate of the brothers who founded Bodegas Viyuela, she has always been dedicated to sales and currently focuses on the quality of the vineyards and wines within the D.O. Ribera del Duero.

Gonzalo / Commercial Director

With an impressive twenty-year career in sales, added to his long experience as commercial director of several wineries, he enthusiastically channels his experience to strengthen our distributors.

Verónica / Executive Advisor

Graduate in Business Administration and Management, and Master in International Business, she has lived in France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Malta and Thailand and speaks five languages. She is currently in charge of treasury, marketing and sales.

Marta / Secretary

She ensures the smooth functioning of the company, handling communication with partners and employees, ensuring compliance with legal and statutory regulations, and accurate records of decisions made by the board of directors.

Héctor / Member

He provides support to the executive management in the implementation of strategies and projects, working in synergy to achieve the company's objectives.
